Board Information
GBRA InsigniaGBRA is governed by a board of nine directors appointed by the Governor and subject to confirmation by the Texas Senate. Each director serves a six-year term, with three directors appointed or reappointed every two years. Prior to each regular monthly meeting, board committees meet to recommend and review policies, programs and actions for consideration. The General Manager and staff conduct management and administrative duties in accordance with policies established by the board.
The GBRA Board of Directors meet the third Wednesday of each month. Meetings are open to the public and are normally held at 10:00 a.m. at the GBRA River Annex, 905 Nolan, Seguin. (From East Court, turn on Cherry Street, then right on Nolan). Periodically, the Board will meet at other locations in its statutory district. Please check the Agenda prior to each month's meeting to confirm date, time and location.
