Special Studies
CRP SamplingAs a part of the Clean Rivers Program in the Guadalupe River Basin, special monitoring projects or studies are identified and funded. These efforts can be identified by river authority personnel, by members of the Basin Steering Committee or as a result of a previous monitoring or study efforts or a current issue affecting water quality in the area. Examples of studies conducted in the basin include efforts to assess the role of aquatic plant growth in the run of the river impoundments, the impact of impervious cover on water quality in high population centers in the basin, and the impacts of oil field activities on water quality. As studies are completed, the final reports are posted on the website in the Special Studies associated information section.
