GBRA's Hydro division maintains the Nolte Island Park area adjacent to Lake Nolte in Seguin, between Nolte Dam and the powerhouse. Located just five miles outside of Seguin, Texas on FM 466, Nolte Island Park is one of GBRA's favored park facilities. Nolte Island was created by GBRA to facilitate construction of the hydroelectric plant at that site. Among the many oak and pecan trees are two pavilions available for rent by the public.
Site 1
Site 1 has a 30'x50' covered pavilion with seating for up to 140 people. The amenities include a covered barbecue pit area, water, electricity, restrooms, picnic tables, swings, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and area for washers.
