An outdoor, hands-on, educational experience reinforcing Earth and Life Science stations aligned with TEKS. All students receive an overview of the history about Canyon Lake Dam and rotate through educational stations within the Gorge property. The stations we offer are Sedimentary ROCKS!, Aquatic Ecosystems, Where’s Water, Home on the Move, Binocular Bonanza, Educational Hike and Local Landforms. The program fee is $5.00 per student. There is no program fee for Title I schools. Schools must provide their own transportation.
