Trunks are free of charge and available for a one-week loan.
Each trunk includes supplies and instructions for each lesson.

GBRA has a series of science trunks available to elementary and secondary
schools regarding topics including water, water properties, water quality, and
watersheds. All lessons and resources provided are TEKS-aligned.
Play the role of a water molecule moving around the planet within the water cycle. Summarize
the journey with an included graphing visualization. Lesson Plan & Materials
A hands-on activity with an Olympic flair. Each “event” is a challenge for students to compete in
that highlights properties of water. Added extensions with 3D Molecular Models shows off

Students build a watershed model from materials provided and will identify the contributing
parts of a watershed. Scientific tools will include the model and topographic maps to see the

Veiled in mystery and history, students investigate a real world groundwater issue through

In this STEM activity students will test the boundary of buoyancy. Students will design, test, and
