Effective today, GBRA, in coordination with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), is adjusting the Canyon Reservoir release rate from 300 to 250 cubic feet per second (CFS).
The adjustment will help continue reducing water levels in the reservoir’s flood pool as inflows remain elevated. Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority and the USACE will continue monitoring reservoir levels and inflows and adjust release rates as conditions change.
As you enjoy the Guadalupe River, please practice water safety, stay informed of changing conditions, and continue practicing water conservation to help protect this resource.
